  • Worked on preparation, distribution and collection of consent forms from childcare centers, garden bed installation, gardening work and later data collection and analysis works for the USDA-funded project “Effectiveness of a Childcare Hands-on Gardening Component for Preventing Preschool Obesity in Different Climatic Zones and Demographic Areas”.

  • Worked on Planting design for Christine DeVitt and Helen DeVitt Jones Child Development Research Center (CDRC) Outdoor Play and Learning Environment Redesign.

  • Working on multidisciplinary and collaborative research projects using immersive technologies and tools like GoPro HERO10, Matterport MC250 Pro2 Professional 3D Camera Panoramic, and Leica BLK360 from the XR Lab.

  • Working on developing interactive virtual tours (IVTs) to help the childcare authority learn about incremental developments of childcare centers and to improve childcare environments.

  • Working on an animation video series funded by USDA NIFA to highlight the significance of hands-on gardening for children and teachers in childcare centers.

  • Learning and applying environmental, statistical, and GIS software, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, RStudio, and MAXQDA, and developing and managing feature layers for behavior mapping (BM) data collection on the ArcGIS Field Map web interface.

  • Working on the design and construction of the outdoor learning environment of Guadalupe Early Learning Center of Lubbock, Texas.
